Well after what has been an amazing Summer of Sport for all our athletes past and present weither it was at Junior regionals, School Games , WhRL Grand final, The Paralympics in Rio and also to those taking part in the forth coming 4 Nations Wheelchair Rugby League Competion in Rochdale on 24th and 25th September.
On behalf of SPIDER-Y we would like to congratulate our Patron Hananh Cockroft another 3 Golds, Harry Brown Bronze Medal, Sophie Carrigill Record breaker, Coral Batey all your hard work the last couple of years is paying off, Welcome home, time for a rest sit back and watch your friends and team mates take on the 4 Nations.
So Rio's finish next up Rochdale and the Wheelchair Rugby League 4 Nations Tournement #Rio2Rochdale -
England WhRL take on the home nations at the 3rd 4 nations tournement and its back up North, the first 4 nations was held in Hull in 2012 just before London Paralypics, then held in Medway home of England WhRL in 2014, with Engalnd winning both these competitions. England feature no less than 5 Leeds Rhinos Players Including joint Captain James Simpson(A), along with Jodie Boyd-Ward(A), Tom Halliwell(A), and debutants Ryan Richardson and Nathan Collins along with Sebastien Bechara who featured in Rhinos last season is an impressive line up and shows how far Leeds Rhinos have moved forward in the last couple of years. In Addition to these we are happy to confrim that another 4 of our players have been selected to represent the Exiles ( Other Nations) in the 4 Nations Tony Godward, Luis Domngos, Ewan Clibbens and Joshua Butler, WOW thats a massive achiement for our charity.
All and all 2016 has been an amazing year for SPIDER-Y and its Team, Players and Staff endless awards and recognition and we can only build on this success.
